ROSE MARGARET KING MERIT AWARDS - Check out www.dollarsforlearners.com as there are a list of awards based primarily on financial need and commitment to studies - special consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated community leadership / financial need and who have attended an inner city school in elementary or junior high - especially Alex Taylor School. TEETH CLEANING FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS - Mrs. Melney
NAIT'S Dental Assisting program requires patients between the ages of 4 - 21years of age for teeth cleaning in May and June - Treatments take approximately two hours - fee is only $10.00 - Please call 471-8827 for a screening appointment - this is aimed at individuals who have limited access to dental services.

 

ROSS SHEPPARD AWARDS – Mrs. Fernandes-Isidoro

Applications for the Tymko, Eastman and Strategic Financial Future Scholarships are now available in student services, the office, or room 236.  These scholarships have a cash value of $1000 each.  Successful applicants must be in grade 12 and demonstrate some financial need. All completed applications must be submitted to Mrs. Fernandes in room 236 no later than May 16.

ATTENTION GRADE 12 STUDENTS - Due to recent changes in the ALEXANDER RUTHERFORD SCHOLARSHIP – monies ($1500.00) will now be awarded to students who have obtained a 75.0% - 79.9% average in grade 10 11 and 12 - Applications are available in Student Services and the DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JUNE 1ST, 2008 - This is fantastic news for our students, so come by student services for an application - more info at www.alis.gov.ab.ca - link to scholarships
