Cheer Registration cost is $250 per team in Small Co-ed (3 males or less), Co-ed (4 males or more), Super Co-ed (20+ members on team), Small Varsity (1 - 12 members on team), Large Varsity (12 - 20 members on team), Super Varsity (20+ members on team), A level High School (1 - 20 members on team), A level Junior High (1 - 20 members on team), AA level Junior High (1 - 20 members on team), Junior High AA small (1 - 12 members on team), Junior High AA Super (20+ members on team), Allstar/ Club Teams Levels 1 through 5 is $250/ team, and High School/adult Open Division (5+ members). Pom registration cost is $250 per team for Junior High Pom and Senior High Pom (unless you have already entered in one other team, then the cost is $150). Non-building Show Cheer (1+ members on team) the cost is $200 per team (unless you have already entered in two teams, then the cost is $150). 

***All teams registered are entered into the draw for the uniforms and to become the Grand Champion in Pom and Cheer

RSCC 2010 Rules

The rules for RSCC 2005 will follow the Alberta Cheerleading Association 2007/8 Rules Book. This is available from the Alberta Cheerleading Association website .  Please do not call Ross Sheppard High School for a rules package.

The ACA will also provide trained judges for each of the team events. There will be 2 panels of judges for all team events. The direction a team will face will be determined at a later date (please see order of performance 1 week prior to event).

Admission

The admission to all events will be $5.00 per day (please see event schedule). Doors will open 1/2 hour before each event.

Competition Floor

The competition area is a 54' X 42' square of gymnastic mats (7 mats 6' X 42'). We have 2 warm-up areas of 42" x 42" gymnastic mats and these are available Friday evening, and Saturday morning to practice on (must pre-register to use them) . A Spring floor will not be provided. There will be no Mat time before the competition so please use the practice area when it is available.  Teams will be able to warm-up for 25 minutes before they perform in the warm-up areas. That is the only area that can be used for stunting or gymnastics rehearsal. TEAMS CAN NOT STUNT OR TUMBLE IN HALLWAYS.  

We have 3 practice areas of 42" x 42" gymnastic mats and these are available Friday evening ( 9pm - 10:30pm ), and Saturday morning ( 7:30am - 9am ) to practice on (must pre-register to use them).

Registration Times

The registration table will open at 4:30pm on Friday and at 8:30am on Saturday. Do not arrive prior to that time . You will be assigned a space at that time for the event.

Please check the order and itinerary for your teams assigned check in time you can arrive earlier but to make everything work smoothly we suggest checking in at the assigned time.

Never bring any valuables to cheer events. With locked doors and police officers it appears some items still disappear.

Team Photos

As a memento of the competition Ross Sheppard will provide an opportunity for team photos to be taken During the warm-up time in the small gym. A schedule will be sent out when the registration deadline has passed.

Withdrawing

No money will be refunded after March 10, 2008 . If you need to withdraw before that time please let William Robertson know as soon as possible.  Program will be printed and medals ordered as of March 1, 2008.

No one will be allowed to change categories after March 1, 2008 .

Concession

There will be a concession at the competition. It will open approximately 1 hour before the start of each day

Clothing

Cheerleader Baby tees and Shorts with Cheer on them will be available in a variety of colors at a cost of $10.00- $15.00 in sizes Xsmall, small, medium, large & Xlarge.
