In the fall students are invited to join the Citadel Club. When they sign up, they
pay a great student price to attend all six of the Mainstage Citadel Performances.
Not only that, students meet at 6:30 prior to performance to enjoy Pizza, followed
by an introductory lecture on the play that they are seeing, then they view the play
and finally are treated to a talk back with performers and technicians from the play.
We sit together as a group. Students need their own transportation. This Club has
been in operation for ten years - you could say we are theatre buffs!

Ross Sheppard's MultiCultural Club
"Rejecting Racism, Embracing Equality, Demanding Diversity"
This club
started in the fall of 2004 when our staff was approached by the Department
of Secondary Education to be part of a study that would look at Diversity and Multi
Racial Issues in a large urban and diverse school such as Ross Sheppard High. We
took on the challenge! The study has morphed into what is now called Project R.E.D.,
Rejecting Racism, Embracing Equality, Demanding Diversity. We have a student and
staff group that work toward awareness campaigns, bring in speakers and host activities.
Our GOAL is to help Ross Sheppard students become part of the Global Community.
We want to be a strong group and need students who are committed to these causes.
This year we were meeting on Mondays at lunch and have now started on special
projects work. Please join us with your enthusiasm, creativity and commitment to
our goals.

SAGA (Straight And Gay Alliance) Staff
Sponsor:
An in-school support club for gay, straight, bi and transgendered Students
Our group is open to all students and staff who would like to either come with questions,
support or simply to see what we are about. We offer a place of safety and
support in allowing all students to be themselves and to deal with issues arising
from their sexuality as well as from the many social challenges they face both
in and out of school. We meet socially and at times will have
Videos and/or Guest speakers as well as many other activates that promote an
openness and spirit of tolerance for all peoples.
We meet every week over the noon hour on alternating Thursdays and Wednesdays
Our normal meeting room is room 228 however at times other locations are used, these
will be announced during morning announcements the location or day/time
has changed.
