Remember one person CAN make a difference!!

On behalf of Ross Sheppard High and Project RED, a team of students went to City Hall Friday, November 24, where they were recognized as Honorable Mention for the YMCA PEACE MEDAL. Mayor, Stephen Mandel, presented these Youth Peace Builders with a plague and a pin. It was a morning of inspiration as students listened to speakers dedicated to promoting peace.

Project R.E.D. (Rejecting Racism, Embracing Equality, Demanding Diversity) has been actively involved in the school with such activities as Wear Day (Cultural dress), speakers for Black History month, Aboriginal Awareness, Celebration for the Day Against Racism, Peace Week and Gandhi Youth Conference.
