Internet "Netiquette"


  When you have finished this project, you will be able to:
complete a search on the Internet
describe acceptable use rules on the Internet
  1. Click on the Search button in the tool bar above. When the search engine starts, type the following phrase in the search field:

    "Internet Etiquette"




  2. Start a Word or Notepad file, answer the questions in #3 below, then copy the answers into the Message portion of an email and in your "Hand In Folder".

  3. Visit at least three sites and record the URL of each site. As you read through the various sites on Internet "netiquette" answer the following questions. Don't forget that each website will have different descriptions for each question therefore I should see 3 answers for each website.

  4. Send a copy of the above entry in your notebook as the body of an email message to your teacher.

  5. Also put a copy of the Assignment into your "Hand In" folder of your Personal Drive space

  6. You are now ready to proceed to the next project in which you will be introduced to the HTML scripting language for creating Web pages.
