COM3130 Final Project
This Project counts for 80% of the COM3130 Mark.
- Create a Web page that uses all new material that demonstrates your knowledge
of Web page design and layout and consists of the following:
- a personal Web page that links to
- a Web page that you create for a not-for-profit organization
- a commercial Web page that you create
- a cultural or ethnic Web page that you create
- illustrate and explain a story or short poem
- an Adobe Acrobat PDF document
- You must demonstrate proficiency in:
- design and layout
- use of fonts
- use of a variety of formatting options
- at least one of the pages should use frames
- suitable use of graphics, icons, and pictures
- ease of navigation on the entire Web site
- use of Flash, Adobe Acrobat, and Visual Page
- the Web site must include an on-line site map
- Note that all of the items listed above must be content that you have not used before.
- You will be marked on the originality and creativity of your Web page as well as the design and layout.
- Mount your Web page on a Web Hosting Service when it is complete.

- Using "Notepad" write the URL of your web page so your teacher will
know where to find it on the net.
- Save the "Notepad" text document in you project folder calling it "URL"
- When you have completed this project, place the project folder in the "Hand
In" folder of your personal disk space.
