This is an interesting site that deals with Maxwell's theory of EMR. Maxwell expanded on Faradays law of electric fields. He theorized that a magnetic field could exist only if an electric field was present. This site describes a bit about the characterics of waves and wave particle duality. Also, the site shows the daily uses of EMR; such as in hospitals, walkie talkies, cell phones, etc.

This site is the absolute key to the understanding of gamma rays and other various waves. The site contains helpful pictures and definitions which can be confusing to understand. I only used to know info about radio waves........not any more!
